1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the Silver Cliff Hotel website and participating in our Stewardship Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services or making contributions.
2. The Restoration Mission
The Silver Cliff Hotel is a project of the Silver Cliff Sanctuary and Cultural Center, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the historic preservation, restoration, and cultural revitalization of the 1918 Silver Cliff Hotel in Lusk, Wyoming. All contributions made through this website are designated to support this restoration mission and the associated cultural initiatives.
3. Contribution Policy
Nature of Contributions: Contributions provided to the Silver Cliff Sanctuary and Cultural Center are considered irrevocable, non-refundable donations made in support of our 501(c)(3) mission.
Stewardship Benefits: The Silver Cliff Stewardship Medallion and associated digital records are provided as a token of recognition for your support. They do not constitute an investment, a security, or a financial asset.
No Refunds: As these funds are committed immediately to the preservation and structural stabilization of the historic property, we cannot offer refunds for contributions.
4. Intellectual Property & Digital Assets
All content, including architectural designs, historical research, photographic documentation, and the “Digital Twin” stewardship program, remains the intellectual property of the Silver Cliff Sanctuary and Cultural Center. The use of our digital records and portals is for personal, non-commercial use by our stewards.
5. Future Commercial Activity
While the current focus of this platform is the support of our restoration mission, we may introduce retail merchandise or hospitality services in the future. Any future sales of goods or services will be governed by separate terms and conditions provided at the time of purchase.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our project involves the restoration of a 1918 historic landmark. While we strive for accuracy in our updates and mission reporting, all information, projects, and site content are provided “as-is.” We make no warranties regarding the timeline of restoration, which is subject to the complexities of historic preservation.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Silver Cliff Sanctuary and Cultural Center, its board, or its representatives be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our stewardship mission.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
